Wiltshire

Roger is the representative for the Wiltshire Police Federation.

Roger has worked for several different family law firms and so has a wide range of relevant experience. This includes advising clients on all aspects of divorce, financial settlements, co-habitation and child contact issues. He joined Gorvins in March 2008 and represents officers from Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Sussex Constabularies, as well as Metropolitan Police officers.

Roger was a police officer for over ten years before becoming a solicitor. As such he has a good understanding of the specific concerns facing police officers, such as worries about pension entitlement. 

He also understands the stresses involved with issues such as shift work and overtime. Roger believes in trying to settle matters as amicably as possible and is a member of Resolution. This is an organisation of over 5,000 lawyers who believe in a non-confrontational approach to family law matters. However, he is prepared to instigate court proceedings if necessary.

Roger Weller is an Associate Solicitor in the Milton Keynes Family Department and has been with the firm since March 2008.

He conducts appointments with clients at surgeries at the Federation Offices on a regular basis.
