Ceri MurrayCeri Murray is Gorvins Legal Representative for the North Wales Police Federation.

She has a wide range of experience in dealing with, amongst other things, divorce, matrimonial finances, contact and residence disputes and issues arising from cohabitation.

Ceri has also acquired specialist knowledge of police divorce, dealing in particular with the pension on divorce.

Ceri's recent work includes:

  • Representing a £1.9 million lottery winner regarding a Schedule One application by children from a previous relationship against his winnings, reaching a concluded agreement, without the need for further proceedings, at a full day round the table meeting;
  • Representing a father in contentious proceedings, in which he successfully obtained a shared residence order for his child, the starting point having been no contact whatsoever;
  • Advising and representing a client on a successful application to freeze the substantial assets of her husband upon separation to prevent him from moving them out of the country;
  • Representing the parents in Child Care proceedings;
  • Representing the numerous clients dealing with matrimonial finances upon separation.

Prior to joining Gorvins, Ceri worked for four years as a trainee solicitor, specialising in Family Law. Ceri undertook her studies part-time while working full-time, and upon completion of her studies in 2006, Ceri achieved the highest grade at her university and was awarded the Law Society Award for 'the most outstanding part-time student.'
